Edit Text don't work

When trying to open/edit existing text obejcts with version X5 Evo 2019.3.9, nothing is displayed, only a blank text editing area. On the other hand, the texts are there and can be displayed in the preview. The problem is, self-evidently, that the texts cannot be edited but have to.
I need help!

This issue is usually caused by either faulty Windows permissions and an intrusive antivirus which blocks some of the software's functionalities.
Please proceed like this:
Shut the software down.
Add it to the exceptions for both the antivirus and firewall
Restart the software as Administrator
Try this out and let me know if the situation improves
