Back to the ALT tag question for cart items and gallery images
Auteur : John W.I noticed some more threads about this, some angry, but back to a couple of unanswered questions from
last year. Actually they were answered with a No. But let's see if we are making any progresss to updating
the software to handle this.
For shopping cart images and for gallery images, have we developed a way in the software to assign ALT
tag to these graphics?
It most certainly will be a BIG PLUS for those of us who know that some people search by image for products.
And the only way to label that image is with an ALT tag. I'm sure some Schema code helps too, but ALT
tags are a blessing.
Any progress toward making this happen from within the software. Even if it assigned an automatic ALT tag
by using the JPG file name, that would be awesome. A lot less typing....
Hello. I sent a notification to the company employees. Expect an answer from them here in the comments.

Thanks
Hello John
This has been notified to the developers in several occasions but I have to confirm that unfortunately, there is still no news on this
The importance of this feature is surely understandable so I will be sure to inform the developers of this again
I apologize for not being able to help this matter in any other way but I thank you for your patience

Stefano, you can only do what you can do. Eventually they will set up some sort of right click menu, or even an
ALT tag column for the list of graphics associated with a cart item.
Truly, no one can expect everything all at once from a software package. When I first wanted to use Website X5,
it still did not write responsive websites back in version 11. When that feature came to life, that is why I chose
to come back to this software. And the fact that I can have the software on my hard drive and not use it as a
web based application. With enough feedback from this forum, the software will evolve more. A lot better than
what I was dealing with from Net Objects Fusion. That company just went into the dumper.
I have already seen good changes to the software over the past few years. I have faith that they will add more
good changes....
More to come. In other threads!
