I have an error on my website. When I do an audit it says an alt tag missing for an image. The image in question is empty-GT_imagea-1-.png yet this image is not on my website. I delete it from my server but every time I upload any changes to the website it re appears. Any suggestions and help would be appreaciated.

Thanks.

Hello Terry,

The image is in the sidebar of your project.  Although you do not have an active (visible) sidebar nevertheless the image is referenced in your source code.

To rectify this, edit the sidebar content of your template to delete the image, then reupload your project to the server once more.

This link will help you identify the image in question:

Kind regards,

Paul

Go to Step 2 Template > Template Settings > Template Content > Sidebar...

If at first you don't see the image there then go to Step 2 Template > Template Structure > Structure Type and make the sidebar active (temporarily)...  then go back to Template Content, delete the image, then make the sidebar inactive once again in Template Structure.
