This is what I see. I can do nothing with it. There is nothing to click on to make any changes. Everything is greyed out.

Steve,  you still working on v9 :-(

Hopefully aware that it is very difficult to support such an old version (& Incomedia cannot/will not). Your header is not greyed out, the graphic (part of the template) is missing or corrupted I think. If you have an iwzip you can re-open wx5 and import it to restore the image, otherwise I suspect your only choice is to select a different template. Sadly my knowledge of this version has become incomplete over time.

If your website is online (unlikely because this is "new project") you could use an ftp program (eg filezilla) and retrieve the file called banner.jpg and put it in the folder my documents\new project. Perhaps you can find this image elsewhere?

You should frequently go to step 5 and export the project (renaming after creation so you can keep multiple backups), if you do not / have not you will one day loose your project/s.

My website has been on line since 2012. It was set up by someone else who I have asked to help but they never did. I am afraid the above reply does not help as I haven't a clue what you are trying to explain to me. Your reply is far too technical for me to understand. My knowledge of computers is limited. Thank you for trying but it looks like I am not going to get anywhere.

Steve, we may be able to talk you through this with the use of screen shots and instructions. For instance, if you go to step 5 export, upload the website to the internet and successfully connect to your site we can show you how to retrieve the missing file from the style folder.

However, it may be easier to assist you in recreating the website by copying and pasting content from the online site.

Can you provide a link to your site which has been online since 2012 so we can offer more accurate advise? Could it be http://www.ducati900sl.com (I hope not, there are "a lot" of photos to restore) and when was it most recently updated?

  1. Try to put any image file named "banner.jpg" in a folder "C:\Usere\Steve\Documents\New Project\".
  2. Try temporarily disabling your antivirus and firewall.
  3. Try reinstalling the program.
