Defer JS  en

Here's one I can't find any information on. While attempting to optimize my mobile/responsive site to load quicker, I can't understand why or how the 'defer' attribute, when when using it with JS, affects both the hamburger and main menus. It primarily makes any of the level menu non-functioning, so visitors can't navigate through the site. Why is this and how can I fix it.

Maybe this helps?

But why mess around with (external) scripts?

Just let x5 do his job. it should be fast enough for smartphones just as it is.

I've seen that before, but what I want to know is why does the attribute/defer effect the menu's like it does. Is this a characteristic of X5 or does it happen with other software. What do I have to do in order to make the different levels of the menu continue to work correctly?

Well best is to leave the speed as it is and use the standard x5 options to your liking. I don't know exactly what does not work for you if you have the standard options selected. the speed shoould be fast enough.

Maybe you can give an example of what you want or what does not work for you with an exemple website or pictures?
