Dennis, perhaps you could post a screen shot so we know exactly what you are referring to?

I you mean the menu sidebar in the current version, the length is nominal, even though it has a value that cannot be changed it will always be as long as required and is based on the minimum height of the page.

Objects within the sidebar can be dragged to any size required.

I think Dennis is talking about he width, not the height. If so, you can change it. You can use the Width property you can find in the first screenshot that Esahc posted.
