HAMBURGER BUTTON  en

Having a difficult time with the hamburger button showing up in viewports 2 and smartphone. I don't have a hamburger button in my desktop website but isn't it supposed to show up automatically on the viewports smartphone and viewport 2?

Also, everytime I resize my header image for the smartphone and viewport 2 they don't remain and show  up the same size as the desktop header image?

I thought I could build a desktop site, and it would automatically be responsive for all viewports.

Would appreciate any help offered here or any articles to follow.

Dennis

Dennis, please do as requested by Aleksej, but the following may get you started and refine your questions.

You have placed your menu at desktop resolution, but you must also check every resolution to ensure everything remains within the viewable area.

If the menu object size is too small, a hamburger menu will appear instead

But if you drag the handles you can make the menu as big as necessary (within the viewable area)

If you do not want a hamburger menu but there is insufficient space in the header you can make the header deeper for each resolution in step 2, template structure and then try again in template content.

When you're editing the text field there's a checkbox where you can tell the font to fit the object size. Perhaps this will help?
