New Object - Freeform Menu  en

The Menu object is tied to the Map layout; making it impossible to add pages from one menu level area to another menu level area without duplicating the page.  Why have duplicate pages?  Waste of time to update multiple pages of the same thing, plus setting seo to ignore to avoid google choosing which page due to duplicate content.

How about a new menu object "Freeform Menu".  It would allow you to create a list of Menu items, and then a link like in the Swiper Grid Slider to the page you want linked to that menu list item.

Then you have the choice for the menu to be from a group of menu items (level) like now, or from anywhere in the map.  Useful for things like grouping by characteristics where pages belong to different groups simultaneously.

Adrian, have the original page and add a level with properties set to open the original page means that only one page requires editing. You can add a new level under any menu level so that a page can appear to be in many places.

Wow that works great! Thank you.

I did notice that if i change the map name of the page, the name assigned to the level does not automatically update - so something to watch out for - but otherwise works great!

You've saved me a bunch of work and allowed a new structure for my customers to find products easier under different cateories. Much appreciated.

Adrian
