The Poll Object is not working correctly, only the question is shown, no answers or chart. When you click the vote button, it updates the database but does not show the chart. Users can access polls multiple times and click the vote button it will update the database each time the user clicks the vote button and still not show the chart. All website test from the admin tool all pass. The php verion is 7.4.3. How can I get it to display correctly?

Hello. Please provide a link to the Poll Object page.

I have attached screen shot of the page that includes the link at the top of the page. The poll had been working in prior version of Website X5 not sure, when it stopped working. It stopped working on both my local machine and the website. I did recreate the database on my local machine that did not resolve the problem.
"I have attached screen shot of the page that includes the link at the top of the page." - please send the link as text.
Hi James,
thank you for getting in touch.
Are you experiencing the same issue on all browsers? Do you get the same result in the preview?
Please let me know. Kind regards.

Yes- the same results in all browser Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge the page with the poll and the vote button displays. The same results for both the local test system and the published website. If the user clicks, the vote button the database is updated each time the user clicks the vote button; however, the graph never displays the poll results information. Users can also retake the poll as many times as they want, each time the database is updated with their vote. It used to be a user could only click the vote button once and then the poll results graph would display it no longer does that. I believe it may have stopped working after and Website X5 update but hold me to that. I am not sure when it stopped working I do not revisit a poll after they have been created and tested.

Sorry yes, it does work in the preview I have attached a screen print of the poll graph.
Hi James,
thank you for getting back to me.
It seems like your server reports PHP messages which are usually disabled, namely "Deprecated" messages: you could contact your provider and ask for such messages to be disabled.
Thanks! Kind regards.

I not sure what errors you are talking about there are no errors on the internet website or my local machine when accessing any poll pages or clicking the vote button on any poll. My problem is it not any error messages it is the vote button on polls does not work, the graph does not display after the vote button is clicked and allows users to continue vote which updates the database with bogus votes. I have serval polls and none of them work they did at one time but no longer work. The poll tool does work in preview from Website X5 but not when published to a website. Displaying error messages does not affect a page it only displays the error found but does not affect the page. My local machine will display errors but that is by design as it is a development machine but it is not displaying any errors when taking any poll.

I would prefer not to send the link as text as the polls are not working correctly and can be gamed that was why I included it in the print screen. I have serval polls and none of them work they did at one time but no longer work. The poll tool does work in preview from Website X5 but not when published to a website. I reattached a new screen print with the link only. You will have to type it out sorry about.
Hi James,
these are not errors which are visible on your website as such, but they are to be solved on your server: you should please contact your server provider and ask them to disable the Deprecated" PHP messages.
Please let me know if something's not clear, I will be happy to help you further. Kind regards.

My website provider is not ready to make the change as is affects all uses and no one else is having any problems with their websites, they may not be using Website X5. I made the change to my local php.ini, it did not fix the problem with the polls. I added "error_reporting = E_ALL & ~E_DEPRECATED & ~E_NOTICE" to the php.in on my local machine restarted apache polls still do not work, I even restarted the computer it did not fix the problem the polls still do not work.

Is disabling the Deprecated" PHP messages part of the poll installation? I ask because I had installed over twenty polls on both my local machine and the internet website and they had been working and I did not have to disable the Deprecated nor did I see that as part of the poll requirements maybe I missed that.
Hello James
I've verified your website and I can confirm what my colleague mentioned. Your server is currently reporting "debug" errors which should not be present in a final website. These need to be turned off. Most hosting companies allow this with no issue, but it has to be done server-side. The software cannot take care of this.
I need to ask you to contact them again and ask them to disable these for your hosting space only, or the issue will not be solved in your case
Try this out again and keep me posted here
Thank you
Stefano

I did ask they would not make the changes so I guess I need to find a new poll tool and/or a new web development tool. My question is why did it work and now it does not work?
Hello James
It could be that the option activated after a PHP update on the server or some other reason which I am unfortunately unable to verify.
In any case, I would like to suggest considering other hosting options as well. Not having the possibility of removing warnings is a severe lack of a hosting space. They should never be on when a website goes live and should only be used for debugging purposes.
I hope I was helpful nonetheless
