Preview problem with website X5 - Pro 2021 on Win 10  en

Two days ago when I worked on my project using X5 Pro last version (2021), by mistake after I have open the Preview (working fine and seeing my web site), I have clicked on Mobile Preview button and then the problem came. Now I have only empty white screen as a Preview and I am not able to see my project any more. I have checked with X5 Pro 12 and there the Preview is working fine. I have problem with the latest version of the program only. I am using Win 10 Enterprise and I have no right to stop the antivirus program, which is McAfee.

Try first to start up fresh with preview by using the ctrl key and then press preview (takes a bit longer to load)

This clears all old files hopefully this will get you going again.

I tried several times, but without success. The result is the same - white screen.

There is probably another program interfering with your localhost, the webadress x5 uses for previewing your project.

Restart pc, start as less other programs as possible and try again with ctrl button.

Check also if a new project works.

I have done all the steps. Also I upgrated to the vew version 2021.1.3 today and the result is the same: white screen even with totaly new project.

Are you working from a pc with admin rights, is x5 installed on the harddrive or remote? 

I think it looks like rights to your locahhost, can you run as admin?

Yes. I have admin rights on the laptop. I can install and remove programs. I also tried the right click on the icon and Run as administrator. The result is the same.

Everything worked fine before I pressed mobile preview in preview mode.

But that only puts up a pop up with a localhost adress. I don't know how else to help you, the only thing i can think of is that the antivirus program has blocked the localhost adresses.

maybe other users or Incomedia have some idea's?

Hello Angel

Please try to uninstall the software first of all.

Then, visit this folder:

C:\Users\your username\AppData\Local\Incomedia\WebSite X5 - Pro

and delete the file named config.xml

Then, reinstall the software and try again
