I would like to manually edit the HTML code of one or more pages of my website.  The image below is from one of your discussions/help posts that I found while searching discussions for help.  It's dated in 2015 and Pro has changed a wee bit since.   Can the give me current help topic links  that are updated for that topic/discussion?

Yes I am.  Back in the day one could use web software that had it's own editor and when you had to look at some specific coding, you could make appropiate changes with it's editor and changes would stay until one would add, change or delete the page.   You really can't do that with Web X5.  Everytime one would upload a change, everything you added/changed would revert back.

For example, under page properties the page title is one thing, under web settings the website title is something else.  But when you go into the source  and look at the coding, it combines the page title and the website title together, separated by a hyphen in the meta-tag title.  I choose that I do not want to do that.  I can use a editor like Coffee Cup and make the changes, removing the website title from the meta-tag title, but as soon as I upload that site after other minor changes, then it goes back to what X5 determines it to be.  I want to make those lasting changes if I choose.  Suggestions??

Unfortunately, you are right. If you make changes to the page code, then the next time the site is uploaded to hosting, these changes may be removed.

What file can I go into with a editor and make appropiate changes that would allow me to remove the website title from the meta tag ' title ' iin the coding?   Did this before where I had to go into a particular file with a editor and delete a hyphen, then save it and hyphen was removed (forever).   I'm talking about:

<title>page title - website title</title>, to remove  the " - website title " and leave only the page title in the meta tag?

You need to make changes to the file of each page for which you want to change the title.
