Having chose a template, spent an hour changing, adding text / images, inserted all the info to make live, the old site still shows on the web address.

Upon different brousers the new and old show, when on mobile its very upside down / inside out.... even after selecting full optimisation.

Would someone offer to help via  zoom to show why and what i'm missing?

I'm woilling to reward anyone for their time.

Hello.
1) Press the CTRL key on the keyboard and, without releasing it, press the preview button.
2) Delete all site files from the hosting and re-upload it (completely).
3) Clear your browser cache.

Martin, when you click the link above, it goes to i suspect an old version of your site? its  not until you click the links  it goes to the "new" version??  Perhaps,  possibly like Aleksej says,  delete all files on hosting server and do a "clean" upload? this will remove duplicate files..   Also  I would suggest installing a SSL certificate, not sure who your hosting provider is?  but you site shows as "insecure" as the ssl  is either not installed or not redirecting to your Https site?

Hello Martn

You have a index.php file that gives the result. Remove that file and it should function.

There have probably earlier been something on the home-page that needed it to be a php - but you probably want the index.html yo be the only index page.

So again: delete the index.php ( or rename it to something else if you don't feel you will remove it totally). That should solve your problem

It is the server settings that "decides" if the php or the html is taken as the first choice.

Normally the html is taken as first choice.

It can be set in the .htaccess file which should be taken first if both exist. If you don't feel familiar with the .htaccess file, (which you could edit so the html is taken as first choice) then do as I told earlier - delete (or rename) the index.php

I can also help. As I told you, then you just have to delete one file on your server,

Delete the file index.php

That is all.

You can use a ftp-program to delete - or you can use the built-in ftp function in X5.
