Calendar Object Colour  en

Hi

I have inserted the calender onject on to a website. I have used an ical creater to make the calender entries (https://ical.marudot.com) and this works OK when I dd the ical files. However there are 2 problems

1) It only shows the entry in green and my client needs different colours for different types of event, this is clearly a limitation of the ical creator software rather than X5 but does anyone use an ical creator that offers different colours?

2) If the entry says 'booked' you can read it in landscape but in portrait on a mobile phone you can only see the first 3 or 4 letters. I also could do with having a text size feature, any ideas.

Failing that is there a way to manually enter entries onto the days within the calendar object without using an ical file?

Kind regards and thanks in advance

Steve

Thanks for that but it doesnt solve the problem of using an entry in the X5 object. I cannot even see in the code where the colour is.

@Steve - forget about the Full-calendar-object. It is very close to useless.

Do as Andre advice you to.

You can do the same with the LuxCal calendar and 1000 times more. That calendar can be styled totally as you wish.

It can also import ical files - and it can even have events inserted online.

In the LuxCal calendar the event can take color from the category. For a category you specify the colors (and other things) and the event will be shown according to this.

You should try it out.

It is easy to install (use the SQLite version, and it is easy to integrate in the X5 - use an iframe.

forgot to tell: You cannot have different colours for the events when you use the X5-object for the calendar. You will never succeed with that. Unless you code a lot.

All that coding is already made in the  LuxCal calendar. And a lot more.
