Sam, you have the option to preview in a real browser, is the pdf visible when you do this?
Is the site online (can you provide a url?) and does it work from there?
For what it's worth I have found the best way to display a pdf is to provide a link through either text or an image of the pdf and have it open in a new window. This lets the user PC display the pdf in their default viewer.

Esahc,
No, it is not online, and I tried on browser and none either.
It does not even preview on WX5.
Sam, I suspect this only works when online (not working for me either), but if you select type iframe rather than google viewer does that work for you?

Esahc,
Something interesting. I tried iframe earlier (2x) and it did not work. Just now, I tried it and the PDF document appeared.
1. Since it is a PDF and not a link, do I need to be concerned about security issues as iframe?
2. Why does'nt the PDF appear with google viewer?
Thanks for suggesting iframe.
Sam, in this example the top one uses the the google viewer, the bottom one is iframe. The google viewer only works when online. If your pdf is large there can be a significant delay whilst it loads. I can not imagine any reason to be concerned about iframe security.

As I said, I never use the pdf widget (optional object).
