How to email a digital product to another person?

I am creating an e-cards section to a web site. The e-cards are (of course) digital products. When a registered user (buyer) hits the "Add" button, the digital product is added to the shopping cart. I need the digital product to be paid for by the user (the buyer), but sent (by email) to another person.
The user (buyer) gives their own email address with mandatory registration (Customer Details). BUT, when they purchase the e-card, I also need them to give the email address of the person who will receive the e-card. How can this be done in the shopping cart?

You can add an extra field to the checkout process, but you have to manually send the e-card to a different address.

Aleksej, Not ideal!
I sell both physical and several digital products. The purchaser has to be automatically registered.
If (and ONLY if) they purchase a digital e-card, I then want them to provide details about the person who will receive the card. Ideally, I want to have these details stored in a separate database. Can the details be captured by using a Contact Form on the store or product page so that these details are stored when the user hits the pay now button?
Incidentally, where is the Data Management section to be found? It is missing in the Step 1/Settings/ section of v 2021.4.5. There is no Advanced tab at all.
Hello Steven
I am afraid that this specific requirement you have is not available as standard functionality in the software.
When paying, the customer will be prompted to insert his own email to receive the order summary and delivery and it simply cannot be delivered to somebody else automatically. He will need to do this manually. There is currently no other way around this
About your other question instead, the Data Management fields can now be found in Step 5 -> Online export
I remain available here in case you have any other questions

Thank you Stefano. How unfortunate. So, a suggestion for software development for the X5 team.
To be able to send a digital product (or a link to the digital product) to someone as a gift after the product has been purchased by a customer. This is clearly possible because it is exactly what others have in an e-card web site such as at https://www.jacquielawson.com
I guess that for the moment, I will have to look for another solution elsewhere.
Thank you for letting me know where the database details have now been "hidden!"
