I have just received e-mail reconnecting to https://hello.incomedia.eu/promo/2022/02-COOKIE/en.html
It sounds like bad joke - Incomedia suggest to use third party code instead of add own solutions for compatibility with present rules...
if I remember correctly Incomedia always don't recommend of using third parties code...

Hello Andrzej,
thank you for getting in touch.
I can see your point, but in this case this function implies some important legal aspects, as it was the case for the privacy policy (which we have started a collaboration for with iubenda and DP Check).
The focus here isn't on the technical realization of the banner itself, but more on its legal implications. Because of this, we prefer to give our users the possibly to complying with the regulations and create a compliant and safe banner by relying on a service offered by partners which are experts in this field.
I hope I have clarified your doubts, and I wish you a nice day.
Elisa,
Some other software we use has implemented this change within the software...but not WSX5?!
QUESTION:
if the site USE ONLY first-party cookies - do we have to make any changes regarding the cookie-banner?
If we have to - what changes exactly?
-------------------------------------
BTW - we will not use the service you're listed - the FREE plans are just not good enough and paying for the cookie-policy complaint service seems to me like a ransom...
Hi Sinisa,
as long as your website only generates technical cookies, the integrated banner is enough, but I would suggest you to have your website checked by an expert anyway, so to be absolutely sure you won't take any risk.
Thanks! Kind regards.
Hi Elisa,
We have used three FREE cookie-checking services - and the report was: NO COOKIES USED.
One of the service we've used is:
https://2gdpr.com/386447517
(you can see the URL in the link)
Please, try this FREE coockie check service:
https://www.consentmanager.net/cookies/
And you will see really the cookies of your site.
Hello,
To scan a website is not a complete solution to be sure there is no cookies.
In fact cookies can be generated when you are using some specific pages of the website (ecommerce, cart, ...Etc) Not only to do surf on the page but to do some actions..
Add items into the cart, fullfil a form, specific code for a specific page ...etc...
Hope this helps
Enjoy!
Axel
Here with my demo website https://2gdpr.com/942512747
Nothing found, and I am using cookies on some page for demos and nothing detected... alsmost normal beacuse pages are not loaded and used.
So this tool is not accurate.
