Dns Configuration
Auteur : Graham O.Hi guys
Not really a question, or any other option, but more some feedback.
I've finally got my website hosted by you. I was waiting for my existing hosting to expire.
I had some issues in configuring the DNS where my domain name is hosted. In the check page attached the mail info was messing it up. I'd put that in before the rest of the info. When I tried to input the rest I was getting errors and was unable to save the other settings I'd input. They said:
"There was indeed an error in MX record, (email info) the Priority (10) was added to the value of the MX record. We have edited it from our end and added the rest of A records. You may check them in your AdvancedDNS tab"
Once they did that, all good and I'm on-line. Just drawing your attention to it. I copied what you had in the check configuration screen which turned out to be the issue. I attach a screenshot
Regards
Graham
Hello. I sent a notification about your situations to the company employees, expect an answer from them here in the comments.

Thanks Aleksej. I've never had to do the DNS config before so I was lost in the terminology and system. but they have excellent support - juat like Website X5 - and they got it sorted very quickly. I'm assuming that this would apply to any domain hosting site and not just to my one.
Good afternoon Graham
Thank you for your feedback
Unfortunately, this option specifically can be presented in different ways according to the hosting you use and sometimes that number needs to be configured in a dedicated place instead
I'm glad you were able to solve this with your hosting provider and I will be sure to pass the information on so that it might be helpful to others in the future

You know Stephano, I had a sneaky suspicion that this would be the case. With what I've learned now I think that I would be able to cope better with the different systems as I've learnt some of the language and what needs to be done.
