How to show Vat number on order confirmations

Can anybody tell me how to add our vat number to the shopping cart so it shows on the order confirmation that the customers receive?

Is it is to have the VAT number of the customer during his order you have this setting into the customer form before the payment.

No its to show my Vat number on the order that is sent to my customers
