Template script to use in email sending

In the config of an email object one of the sending options is "send to file". I suppose this would provide the possibility to use a self programmed script in PHP or Perl to process the input.
Is there a template for this kind of script? Something that demonstrates the use by accepting the parameters and echoing them back in plain text?

Hello. I have not seen such scripts. But you can try to write it yourself.
