... if you want to complicate, use the normal [▪Enable 'Captcha' anti-spam filter] ...

You can block it by IP in the .htaccess file as recommended in the Post KolAsim mentions, just be careful not to mess with any other parameters.

Or you can let the server write the .htaccess

1) You have to enter your site: www.yoursite.com/admin and go to the message section and there get the IP of the subject that leaves SPAM... copy only the numbers (see image).

2) With the IP: You will enter your domain's cpanel: www.yoursite.com/cpanel (or equivalent if you have another) and look for the "IP Blocker" option.

3) In the window that will open, a box appears to enter the IP that will be blocked. And it is only to follow instructions in case the server asks for something else (usually it is only to enter the IP and hit the add button) and it will go to the section below where the IP that the server denies access to is shown.

Logically, if it is someone who wants to bother you and that someone has a dynamic IP, that is, they disconnect their modem and when they restart it they assign a new IP, they will repeat the procedure (currently, almost most are fixed IP). And this turns into a race to see who gets tired first.

In this way I block someone who leaves me things like adult pages, insults, etc.

By the way, that's how I've realized who's bothering me, because "that someone" contacts me through social networks saying that he can't enter the site. HA HA! (enemy at home).

Greetings.

Good afternoon, thank you for the responce! I'm managed to get the IP's in the .htaccess file on the server were my website is hosted, so that is good. I have the .htaccess file in the root of my local WP5 directory for making my site and put there also the IP's in it, the .htaccess file is linked in Statistics and Code. But when i'm updating my website completely the .htaccess file is made new again through WP5 and the IP's are gone. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks for youre help, Gerard
