Select Portfolio object

Thanks for the suggestion. I gave this a try and it gives close to what I am looking to do.

The portfolio item fills the screen with each item created and the user would need to find what they want then can click one button to view, another to download.

I am looking to click on 1 item and a showbox style window to open showing the item selected, the user can then scan through the thumbnails < left or > right and select the image they want and this to take then to open / download the PDF file.

Sorry there is no link I can show you as I dont see anything

What I have is several pages of single PDF documents and their corresponding JPG file

I have setup one page using the PORTFOLIO object but this also give a screen full of icons which to click on.

I gave each item 2 button one to Display and another to Download, this works but still a lot of icons to look through

I would like to use something ike SHOWBOX item to display the images and the user can scroll back and too seeing a large image once finding the page they want they could click this image and the PDF file is opened for them to download or print

What I am trying to do is /test-site/instrumental-1.html

But I want to use similar to SHOWBOX instead of the thumbnails as showbox has larger display, but it is not clickable

I'm afraid that something exactly like this cannot be achieved with any default functionality of the software at the moment.

Any Object or function that opens a showbox won't allow you to click again on certain elements to redirect you elsewhere. To do something like this you would need to implement custom codes in the project to achieve the result, but the Staff cannot provide support for this kind of codes

Unfortunately, I am afraid that the support the official Staff can provide on this will be limited in this way

You could make a hidden page.

Then make that page without template.

On the page you then insert text and images as you do on normal X5 pages.

Then on the page where you want to have a link as entrance to the page, you specify the hidden-page as the target, and then the link to open in a showbox.

Go to the bottom of the page to this link:

When the link is clicked a hidden page is shown. Go to the bottom of that page whre I have put 2 clickable images.

The left image will open the link on a new tab.

The right image will open the link in the same showbox. The links could be to a pdf-file.

So you could have a page with 9 clickable images - if one of the images is clicked then a pdf-file will open in the showbox.

Hope it is something like this you mean.

The test-images will be removed in a couple of days.

Just for information: I have now removed the clickable image links.
