Missing objects in the footer  en

Hello. Please advise. When I edit the footer for different resolutions, I can't see some of the objects when I switch to a lower resolution. I guess they are left out of the workspace. How do I move them to the workspace if I can't mark them?

Thank you.

Let's try to put the objects closer together in the higher resolution.

I tried that. I moved the missing objects all the way to the top left and I still can't see them.

If the objects are not visible, then click on the presumed place of the objects outside of the display area until their border markings become visible. Now the objects can be dragged into the working area.

-----

Possibly also test this procedure if the objects were accidentally set to "Hide".

1) In WebSite X5 > 2 Template > Template content

2) Click the "Show / Hide" icon.

3) Select "Hidden object management for this view" in the opening window.

4) Another window opens, here the hidden objects are displayed and here check the box for "Visible".

(Tested with the German version, possibly different names in the English version of WebSite X5)

If I understand.
positioned at the higher resolution of where you don't see the objects....
and verify that you have not set them as "hidden"

I don't have any hidden items. When I click in a place outside the workspace where objects might be, I still can't mark them.

For me, objects are marked outside.

First wait to see if one of the other forum users has a solution.

If nobody has a solution, then first create a backup copy of the project, see

5 Export > Export project

And then reinstall the WebSite X5 program, the error may or may not have been fixed.

Yes, this object can be selected because part of it interferes with the visible part of the footer. If the entire object is outside the visible area of the footer, it cannot be selected.

And if your object is really outside the zone, you will have some Google Search Console errors and your SEO optimization will not be good.

But I don't want him out of the zone. I want to move him into the zone, but I can't tag him.

Hello Michal

What if you go to the higher resolution and completely delete them?

Then, place a new Object again and it should now appear in view on the smaller resolutions too

Try this out and keep me posted here

Thank you

Stefano

Yes, this is the only possible solution. Delete and recreate everything. But I wanted to avoid that. I see this as a shortcoming of the program.

After deleting and re-creating everything is OK.
