After creating a table and adding content, i save the page to complete later and add more content later. But the next time i open the template, the content has totally disapeared and inam leftvwith an empty tabke. this is very annoying as it takes several hours to rebiuld that table.

this has happened so many times in the last 12 months and i am constantly rebuilding these pages.

so what is going wrong?

Probably a memory problem. Is a cloud drive or similar used?

Many thanks,  Daniel.
Because my computer is an Apply iMac, I have to use a virtualisation package - Parallels. i am not sure how to check on memory though. i dont use a cloud drive.

if only Incomedia would make an Apple version of the software......

Perhaps Apple Computer users can say what needs to be adjusted where, so that WebSite X5 can safely save the work.

I only have a laptop with Windows 11.

Cheers, Daniel. Hopefully some Apple user will be able to help.

Kathy, what happens if you go to step 5, export project after a major editing session?

The next time you start the project, if content is missing, go back and import the iwzip (this will not overwrite your project).

It almost sounds like a cache problem where parallels has not forced a hard write to the hd at time of closing the emulator.

If this is the case it will ultimately lead to project corruption (all the more reason to export project and append date after every major editing session).

Many thanks Esahc - I wasn't sure what would happen if a did an import of the iwip, so I'll try that. And export the project as well (I do forget to do that sometimes!) Fingers crosssed!
