Sandbox a project in included webspace

Im in the process of splitting a project and i dont wish to affect our current site and server with errors and downtime as there are issues to solve.
x5 pro includes hosting with incomedia? can i use that space as a sandbox to test without having to point my domain to the incomedia host?
