Hi folks, probably another easy one to explain, but...

I am looking to use the template "Silver Camp" and I'm looking at the text object for 'what does the camping offer' text object. When I go to edit this I see the text area split by a vertical dotted line (see attached).

What is the purpose of this line and how can I either change it or edit it.

I hope this is fairly simple, can you help please ?

Thanks, Kev.

Hi Kev:
The dotted line is an indicator of the width of the cell or cells where it is located and serves as a visual guide to place the text or order the text. you deactivate it with the icon indicated by the arrow (see screenshots).

If the height occupies the entire width, the dotted line indicates the limit of the width of the project: 1100px, 1200px, 1400px, etc.

1 & 2) We have the row divided into 6 cells. And the text object occupies the 2 centers.

3 & 4) Now we expand the object so that it occupies the 4 cells from the left.

5 & 6) The object occupies all 6 cells. the dotted line marks the limit of the width of the project.

Greetings.

Sorry, error of traslator...

If the heightoccupies the entire width, the dotted line indicates the limit of the width of the project: 1100px, 1200px, 1400px, etc.

Correct:

If the TEXT OBJECT occupies the entire width, the dotted line indicates the limit of the width of the project: 1100px, 1200px, 1400px, etc.

:)

Just to say thank you very much Miguel for taking the time and trouble to explain. Sometimes it's the small things that make a difference. The guides are OK but they often assume you know stuf when you don't !!

Many thanks, Kev smile
