Website loading extremely slow

My website was fine up until the last update a few days ago. It was loading fast with no issues. I changed some text and uploaded two days ago and now the site loads like a photo in windows 95! slow from top to bottom. It takes the main page graphics about 3 minutes to fully load! I don't understand. Ive tried it on different browsers and computers, same thing.
I went back in and lowered the resolution and size of all the images to the minimum that I could and it barely improved.
Was there a bug in the last update which is slowing everything down?

This is probably not due to the update, otherwise a large number of users would have reported here in the community.
The problem is more on your own computer. Possibly post a link to the affected website.
