Why was the Website X5 Manager Discontinued
Auteur : Warren G.Hello to all in the Website X5 Community.
Just wondering how many users found the X5-Manager App useful and relied upon it for push notifications from their online store or other analytic information, not to mention it was very handy for many, surely.
I know it's no longer in the Apple Store, but is still in the Google Play Store, and it has been noted on the forum with the information below and states that you can get PUSH from the site Manager directly.

I not going to be so bold as to say this is a mistake as there may be many reasons for the discontinuation of the X5-Manager, but I just wanted to ask if the community of said people are unhappy about this as I'm not happy about it and feel it is a good App that works hand in hand with X5 and works well.
For some time my wife has been using Shopify as a platform and found it expensive once you pay Shopify and the Add-ins it can get costly; plus some markets are slow at the moment. We were going to use X5 Pro to build the website but went with Shopify due variants can be directly linked to the correct images.

So, been there done that and came back to Website X5 Pro even though variants can't be directly linked to the correct images but can be seen by any client on the website so it does weigh up against costs.
I'm just a little disappointed at the discontinuation of the X5-Manager, I felt it was a great little tool just to keep an eye on things like sales, especially if your business is bespoke and hands-on like my wife's website, it's dead easy to pick up your mobile and hit the App.
Is anyone else sad to see this App go?
I would love to hear other people's thoughts on this and also hear from Incomedia.
I am one of the few people who does not yet own a smartphone. I am online when I switch on my notebook at home.
If I want to see what other people see on their smartphone, I use the smartphone simulation in my browser (Firefox), see screenshots below
Maybe the other users with a smartphone will also say something about it.
