When you initially purchase Website X5 versions you are provided with an initial link - that link is valid for a limited period to allow you to downlaod the program. Thereafter you can download the program under download located on the righthand side panel of this webpage. Your license has no time limit but is limited to the version number unless a free upgrade is offered i.e. V9 versions. If Website X5 comes out with a brand new version with millions of bells and whistles (major  upgrade) the you will have to purchase the upgrade which will be another license number. i.e. V8 upgrading to V9.

Your license for the current version number remains valid for years and is not time limited. Each product offered i.e. software or templates has it's own license and is not time limited.

To recap for your current version number V9 and all future releases in the V9 XXXX series the license will not be time limited. If you upgrade to a future V10, V11 etc you will be offered an upgrade at a reduced price and a new license issued for that series version ie V10. The temporary link offered upon any purchase is for a limited time, thereafter can be found on the right hand side of this web page (naturally you will be offered the latest release in the V9 series.
