1.) If you use Websitex5 hosting, can multiple websites be seen from Websitex5 one hosting panel or is it separated as you must purchase each separately? 2.) Does it offer softaculous so you can use apps such as lime? 3.) Is there a discount for 5 sites?

Hello. As far as I know, the answer to all three of your questions is no.

Hi,
Okay thanks.

Hi,
Subsequent to this, I contact Host.it - Websitex5's partner - and they say that in fact, YES they do offer Softaculous via Linux shared hosting.
It is unfortunate that Websitex5 does not offer one of the mult-website / unlimited website options that they offer.
@Craig
Why unfortunate?
I think you should consider the X5-webspace as a testing-ground you have for one year. It can be used for testing, but for a real website I think you should have a proper name (domain) and not the silly name X5 provides.
There is better and cheaper web-hotels than the X5. And most of the web-hotels can answer YES to all 3 questions.

I wasn't aware that you could not point a 'paid for' domain at Host.it hosting?
What I mean in terms of being 'unfortunate', is that there is no higher-level option which allows multiple sites, databases etc. I'm sure Host.it offers such an option, but then it won't be neatly integrated with Websitex5.
In a X5 project you specify where to upload. This can be to INCOMEDIA or it can be to one.com, host.it. simply.com or whatever ISP.
Once specified in the project eventual database settings and where the project should be uploaded, then there is no difference (except you can use "real" domain names at a 3. party).
I am not sure I understand what you mean by "neatly integrated with Websitex5".

Not sure I'm right, I was just assuming that it is setup to automatically to upload to the right folders etc. with the right database settings etc. so you don't need to do it manually. But since I've never used Websitex5's hosting I'm not sure... I always used third parties such as Hostinger, which is a pain in terms of setting up for a new website.
The inclusive web hosting is intended for beginners who want to have their website online quickly without having to laboriously search for all the parameters for export from the web host.
If you want more options, especially multiple domains in one web hosting package, you will have to opt for a regular web hosting package, perhaps from a different web hosting provider.
If there are several websites with different domains from the same web hosting provider in the same web hosting package, then usually only a small detail needs to be added to the parameters.
The first website is the most difficult, later the other websites are much easier.
