How to delete unlinked resources?

Having 24.2 Pro, I've tried to delete unlinked resources, but none of the options (Export linked/Export not linked/Delete not linked ressources) seems to do anything.
(I've read in the help file that the ressources can be removed by optimizing project resources in the export dialogue, but that one also "optimize the images" and maybe also does other things. But I don't want to do anything else than removing files no longer used.)

The Incomedia employees have to look at this when they are online during office hours in Italy on Monday. There may be a program error.

Many many versions to try to fix this issue not resolved since long time
bugged at each new version !!!!
