Blog 403 errors  en

I have a problem that I have not been able to correct. Here it is:

1. I deleted my blog from my X5 website months ago.

2. I have 117 article pages showing a 403 error in my google search console.

3. They all start with domainname.com/blog? etc.

Does anyone know how I can get these 403 errors out of my Google Search console?

Thanks

Dennis

Open the sitemap.xml in the browser and check if the blog is no longer displayed. Then send the sitemap.xml to Google Search Console. Google should then notice that the blog has been removed and at some point remove the error message.

Daniel, I followed your instructions, and the blog is not listed in the sitemap. I removed it 3 months ago.

Maybe the SEO professionals will get in touch.

I correct the errors myself when I notice them and then I ignore further reports from Google.

But that's my personal opinion because I don't want to waste my time with errors in Google Search Console.

In "Google Search Console" you have to select the option "URL Removal" and click on "New Request".
In the window that opens, select the option "Remove all URLs with this prefix" and write the prefix above:
domainname.com/blog?
And follow the procedure.

If you only want to delete one or a few URLs, choose the other option: "Remove only this URL"

Right there it tells you that it will delete them for 6 months until another indexing is done, but it also tells you to delete them from the site and the sitemap.

--------------

You can also delete that sitemap that is added, and then point to the new sitemap that is clean of the blog pages.

I hope these instructions are useful for you... In any case, you have to wait a while, before I indicated 48 hours, but I have not really checked how long it takes for the changes to propagate on the internet.

Greetings.

Logically, you need to clear your browser cache, maybe you have already done the proper procedure and what you see is your browser cache on your PC.

Question: Are you interested in the blog archives or just the wsx5 project?

If only you were part of the project in wsx5, please access your server and browse the blog page with everything contained.

Sorry, something went wrong in the previous translation... foot-in-mouth
Question:
Did you delete the blog files from the site or was it just from the wsx5 project?

If it was just from the wsx5 project, you need to access your server and delete the blog folder with all its content.

Miguel, I cleared my browser many times. Yes, I deleted the blog files from the site. I deleted all the articles first, then deleted the blog.

I'm going to try the search console deletion you suggested. Thanks for your feedback.
