I run a podcast and i want to setup pages on my website that people pay for using the ecommerce system in order to watch the recordings.
For example, i can setup a product page where the customer can buy a download using a unique download link that is in the Shopping Cart system. That all works well, i just want then sent to a hidden secure page on the website instead of getting a download. Is that possible with WebSite X5 Pro in some way?

To my knowledge, something like this is not possible with WebSiteX5, but to be on the safe side, you should wait for the Incomedia employees.
A suggestion from me for a simple implementation:
You could display the podcasts on protected pages and create various fictitious "members" for these protected pages in the access management.
The download link files would then contain a pseudo email address, the password and the link to the protected page so that the buyer can access the podcast.
However, a lot of this would have to be done manually.
You could possibly use the download links for the protected page access for a large number of buyers and only create them by podcast and for certain periods.
For example:
Podcast A - Month January 2025
Podcast A - Month February 2025
Podcast B - Month January 2025
Podcast B - Month February 2025
... etc.
If January 2025 has expired, then only the password for the protected page with Podcast A is changed in the access management and a new download file is created with the new password.
Perhaps other WebSiteX5 users know (paid) service providers that offer such a service and would simplify administration considerably.
Hello Peter,
unfortunately with the way digital products work a download link would be necessary, but as Daniel mentioned you could use the existing system in order to send customers a document containing the link of the recordings and, if necessary, credentials to access these.
