Hi!

I need a unique variable subject field in the email sender. Is this possible?

Best regards

Norbi

Hello Norbi,
could you please provide additional information or an example so that I can better understand what you would like to achieve?
Thank you.

Hi!

The form sender is used to send emails. What we write in the "Object" field in the "Send" setting is displayed as the subject and is permanent.
Can the form sender be used to send emails so that the "email subject" is entered by the sender? Or is this a form sender and there is no way to make it work like an email sender? There is no need to create an email object?

Hello Norbi,
unfortunately the Contact Form does not have a field for this purpose, and the subject is determined by this setting within the object.

Hi Erik!
Yes, I know that too. It is useful for form submissions, as it tells mySQL the table name when submitting to a database.

Didn't the X5 team plan to build an email sending app (object) into the handler, where the subject field is unique?

We would use it in 130 of our stores on an internal Intranet, where there is no open internet for normal emailing. A unique subject field appearing in the email would be useful.
In the attached image, I am using an external email form submitter, but for this IIS web server is running separately, since the program is .aspx. X5 runs on Apache.
I would like everything to be in one place.
Thanks for the answers so far.

Hello,
at the moment we aren't planning to implement such an object, but I will report your feedback.
