Webpage no longer available on upload after conversion

I purchased the new version of X5 and converted my project, but when I made changes and wanted to export. I got this message.
I went to my hosting site and upgraded the PHP to version 8.4 which should be satisfactory. But I still get the same message when trying ot export. Please help!

WebSite X5 supports php 8.2 only.
Hello Peter,
if you still get the same exact warning, perhaps the change has not yet been applied, or perhaps some additional steps are necessary.
As Daniel mentioned, please switch to 8.2 rather than 8.4, and make sure with your hosting provider that it has been set up correctly.

Thanks both. I have changed the PHP version to 8.2 but still getting the same message on FTP. Unfortunately because I continued to load the first time, the homepage is now unavailable. I have raised a help request with 123Reg.

I have heard back from 123Reg. Apparently the update was being overriden by a line in the HTACCESS file. Once that was deleted the FTP from X5 worked fine and the homepage is available again. Thread can therefore be closed.
