We are getting RSS-feeds from different sites, which is working very fine, but...
On at least one site the images are not shown. Here are two examples:
Blue header: https://www.tv2east.dk/rss Red header: https://www.dr.dk/nyheder/service/feeds/politik

Both xml's contains images. The red one belongs to the dansih national television and I aksed them why it was so. They told me that they had never seen reports about such a problem.
Could it be something in the RSS-feed object that doesn't accept the way they insert the image in the xml?
Thank you in advance.

The red feed doesn't have images everywhere, see my test page (made with free Elfsight widget)

Here is another free widget for RSS feeds, see my other test page (with free SocialbeKIT widget)
At Elfsight the free plan includes 1 widget and at SocialbeKIT 2 widgets are free.
Both providers have different templates or views for the RSS feeds and other settings.

Hi Daniel
Thank for the suggestions.
Unfortunately the site has to be on a level where the customer can maintain the content without much IT experience, Therefor they prefer not to use any thirdparty solutions.
I hope the problem can be solved in Website X5.
The "RSS Feed" object was last updated in 2021, so it is already 6 years old. It probably cannot process modern RSS feed formats properly and therefore cannot display any images.
Maybe Incomedia creates an update for the "RSS Feed" object, otherwise an external RSS Feed widget would have to be used.
There are instructions for the Elfsight RSS Feed Widget here, see
>> https://elfsight.com/rss-feed-widget/create/
And here for SocialbeKIT RSS Feed Widget, see
>> https://www.sociablekit.com/app/users/widgets/create/102/
And the following screenshots show the path to the code that is copied at SocialbeKIT and pasted into an HTML object in WebSiteX5.

@Incomedia: I purchased the "RSS Feed" item for testing purposes, but since it is out of date, see image issues, I would like to cancel the purchase.
How should I go about this or can Incomedia do it for me?
Sorry!
The "RSS Feed" object was last updated in 2021, so it is already 5 years old.
Is Incomedia planning to update the “RSS Feed” object in the near future?
Hello Daniel,
I refunded the purchase.
Regarding an update of the object, we will check whether the images that were not displayed are because of a lack of updates, checking the feeds in question.

Hi Daniel
Thnak you for the help. Until a Website X5 solution is ready we will uise a third party product.
And thanks to Eric for checking if some update is missing in the object.

Hello Vagn,
we will release an update to the RSS Feed object soon, to extend the compatibility towards other methods of including images.
I checked with the https://www.dr.dk/nyheder/service/feeds/politik feed and it now works.
