Why on earth should I shut down or bypass my VPN connection if I start WebSite X5... it's really annoying... And.. seeing also other messages, I'm not the only one with that problem.
I’d like to hear a clear reason for this, rather than just being told to switch off or bypass my VPN.

Hello Jan,
I am sorry about the inconvenience.
WebSite X5 needs to be able to connect to Incomedia's server to have full functionality available, and unfortunately tools such as VPNs can affect this, depending on their characteristics and configuration.
I can understand you may not want to have to disable it, does your VPN not have options to have WebSite X5 marked as an exception, using split tunneling for example, so that you can leave it active and just prevent it from affecting the software?
I remain available.

Hi Eric,
I understand that my VPN could be the cause of the trouble, but my question is why? Why do the Incomedia servers block my VPN-connection?
I've several programmes on my PC which have to make a connection to an internet server on startup, but Website X5 is one of the very few that's not working when my VPN is active...
OK to overcome the issue, I added the Website X5 app in the Bypass section of my VPN, but that didn't work!
I then added the URL incomedia.eu into the Bypass section and that seems to work...
Finally, please note that I like using Website X5 Evo, as it's easy to use, though the VPN-issue is a bit of a downside in my opinion.
