Guestbook spam/bot-protection is insufficient

I built a website with WebsiteX5 V9 and used its guestbook. Althoug I activated Captchas I get tons of spam.
I rewrote the x5engine.php so it searches for certain keywords in guestbook messages and prevents them from being added - so kind a very simple spam filter. Such messages are also logged to a file. Currently I get ~100 log entries (= spam messages) per 8 hours - with Captchas enabled!
I think Incomedia should really improve the protection agains spam and bots!

the only protection against spam that Evo 9 has is the one you have already used: the captcha. The spam is not controlled 100% I'm afraid and there is nothing I can do to help you about it at the moment.
You can, if you wish, post an idea for our WebSite X5 creators and tell them to add more functions to improve spam filters.
