I just happen to find out that the RSS check box in the Blog section creates a xml file iin the Blog folder and not in the parent folder. This is illogical for someone visiting the site and never the blog would never be able to discover and subscribe to the RSS feed from the blog which is, by the way, more complete than the one generated by the RSS function. Furthermore, having submitted my xml to the Google sitemaps, Google will never be able to automatically update / discover the new articles in the blog. In my opinion, the Blog RSS should be merged with the site's RSS otherwise having to include the presence of new articles in the site's RSS manually, renders this function useless !!
Salut Bernard, j'ai signalé ton message au support.... @+ ...J.P.

Salut Jiper et merci beaucoup !
Hello Bernard and J.P.
The blog's feed is saved inside the blog's folder because in the root folder there's already another RSS xml file.
Rememer that with V9 you can create 2 RSS feeds. The first is the one you can create going to step 4 and clicking on RSS feed (it's saved in the site's root folder).
The second is the blog's RSS feed saves in the blog's folder.
The feed is not used by Google to index your site. It's meant to be used by the RSS readers. To inform your users about the feed itself, you can link it using a text object or an image in the header. Just type http://www.yourdomain.com/blog/x5feed.xml to get it.

Thanks for the reply!
The feed is not used by Google to index your site. It's meant to be used by the RSS readers.
But you can submit a feed in your webmaster dashboard and this "speeds up" the indexing of the site/blog (I dit it and 2 days later, blog entries were indexed). I have a hard time understanding the use of 2 feeds. A feed is used to announce to subscribers that there is new or changed pages/entries if I have to duplicate entries in the site feed to tell visitors that new articles were added to the blog then, the blog feed is useless.
I subscribe to a few feeds and there is no need to subscribe to different feeds in order to know if the site's author has added either a new page or a new article in his blog.
It would be nice that whenever an article is added to the blog that both feeds get updated.
We decided to provide an RSS feed for the blog because lot of users asked for it.
If you add a page to the site you have to update the RSS at step 4. If you add a blog post the blog's RSS is automatically updated and your users are informed by a new post.
The RSS is mainly used for subscribers. The Blog's posts should be indexed automatically by Google as they're made like any other page of the site.
Anyway, we'll think about an option to unify the RSS feeds of WSX5.
