I have tried a couple of times to find the answer to my problems and have not received a satifactory responds. I would like to purchase the new v9 but without a more direct form of support I'm afraid I won't be. Trying to find answers in blog form and spending so much time only to find no correct answer is a big waste.

Here is my original post. I also am having problems figuring out how to install a template from the free version on-line. I have version 8. Could you give step-by-step directions? I tried copying the file but that didn't work. Thanks.
I saw instructions for installing once I had the EXE file but I can not find the EXE file. Here is my second post.
Could you please tell me where I can find the Abstract Tech .exe template file to download? I am not looking for instructions on how to install the template after the .exe file has been downloaded. I have ver 8 and the Abstract tech template is different in the free version.

To install a V8 template simply extract it and open the iwp file placed in the extracted folder.
You can download a free template going to www.websitex5.com/templates and clicking on the "Download" button. We updated the templates in V9, so they are slightly different from the V8. Abstract is already included in V8, that's why there isn't a download version of it.

I am very frustrated over this. I'll repeat myself. I would like to use the free version of Abstract tech. The template in the version 8 is significantly different than the free version of Abstract tech. I have v8. Is the template for Abstract tech in v9 the same as the free version? How can I use the free version of Abstract tech? I would consider upgrading to version 9 if I can use the free version of Abstract tech. Do I need to upgrade? Can I use v8? Or is it not possible to use Abstract tech except in the free version? Should I just use the free version and delete my version 8?

No, the template is different from v8. In V9, abstrach tech was updated. The one in V9 Free is the same of the one used in V9 Evolution.
You should create a custom template and import the template images in V9.
The template used in V9 (Free, Compact or Evolution) cannot be used in v8, of course.
