How to stop guest book auto comment

Dear friend,
Guest book unlike blog comments has no option for admin to prove. Because of this unfortunately I have been force to remove my guest book from webpage. Is there any way to stop those porno crooks to stop comment ?

Well, if you wish to keep your Guestbook in your website, you can create a researved area and add your Guestbook in it. This will give you the chance to approve who enters it and keep out unwanted comments.

I have tried.No this is not good option.What's the use of blocking your quest book? Why would you be register for some one's quest book? I believe just like blog , people can enter their thoughts but as a admin if I authorised then those comments can have validty. Please we need to have upgrade to fix this problem.

If you double click on your guestbook (in the HTML and widget object) a new window will open. Here you have the chance to disable the ''show inserted comments immediately'' option, and add your email address in the notification field. By doing this, you should receive an email everytime someone leaves a comment on your guestbook and you will have the chance to approve it or not before it appears in it.
