Having asked you so many times for the postal address detail so I can send my Box version (for a full refund. you seem to hanging it out so I will run out of time to return my CD to you, also asking for a full refund and postage in returning this ver 9 that is just full of problems. you will again mark this has private as you have been doing to so many people who have been complaining to you about the program and its full of bugs. I cannot even get any of my gif file pictures into this new ver9 so I have gone back to Ver. 8 , Are you going to ignore me again and mark this as private, It is not private it is on a forum and should be left for all to see. If I was a new customer and purchased today a CD-Boxed ver9 are you telling me it will come with all the bugs within it, I think not as you would be guilty of sending out CDs knowing it has problem on it. I am sure you could solve this by sending me a full working version if you wanted to. If not I want a full refund and cost in sending the unworkable ver back. As I have said I have purchased ver 7 and ver 8 with no problems and they were purchased on a CD in a Box. Your company sent out this ver 9 when it was quite clear it was not fit for the purpose.

If I had purchased on line by a download I would have taken upgrades via down loads. But as you can see I purchase all my ver in CD and did not want to have to go to all this trouble in getting a full workable program on CD I do not want this issue to carry on until I am out of time in demanding a full refund so PLEASE send me a CD with a full working version or as I have asked for your postal address to send this broken ver back. Christine we all need this V9 because it's HTML 5 a new technology. Other website builders are going to have to change to this too. And most probably face the same problems as we are doing!!!

There will be no more updates for V8 so we have to move on....

Now I can do a remote for you and see what your problem is and get V9 up and running or you will eventually have to go get another program.

Christine I am a web designer of nearly two decades and I can assure you, you will not find anything as good as X5. Look at the history of Windows Vista it was exactly the same scenario before they got it right.

I am not on the staff I'm a volunteer and being retired help X5ers with their issues all around the world (Read my guestbook below)

I will spend hours with you if you like, time is irrelevant to me.... or if you are adamant about a refund what are your choices of another web building program as good as this?

I have them all Christine, Xara, Serif, Dreamweaver, Frontpage etc.... nothing comes close to X5!!

Thank you both for your help. The problem I seem to have is I have gone over to ver9  but I find none of my gif files move any longer in ver9 and in some cases have changed to the wrong Gif fiel (such as banners ect, they are not what I have set up. but they still move in ver 8 I have imported from ver 8 and none seems work in Ver 9 . I have deleted and re-inserted the moveing gif files ie banners etc but they just wont move. any Idea why this is . Am I missing something, I have been at this for the past 2 weeks but just giveing up Kind Regards Christine and Patrick
