Since updating to latest version of website x5 evolution9 - when customer transfers to paypal, the total suddenly rounds up to the nearest pound (so £1.67 becomes £2 in paypal) - is this a glitch in the software, all my settings appear to be correct.

. . . did you check the PayPal FAQ for changes ? (if only happens in PayPal)

I only use paypal as a payment method, and it worked fine before updating the websitex software. All appears correct in the basket and when order number is generated - when customer clicks 'pay now' to transfer to paypal - the basket total magically rounds up to nearest pound. Ive tried re-installing my original download to run the lower version of evolution9 to see if it solves it, but of course my project files wont load. dont know what to do now

Additional - I have tried an alternative paypal account and same happens with this, also i have tried an older version of my website using a much older website x5 version and this gives the correct amount in paypal - so it is definitely nothing to do with my paypal account. All the correcr parameters are in place so the fault has to lie with the main website x5 evolution 9 code from the latest update . Can someone look into this please as a matter of urgency as i will have to take my website out of action until it is fixed. Out of interest, if the basket amount is say for example £3.43 it will round down to £3
HELP!!!!
-> i sent a mail to inco this morning . . .
seems to happen only when using PayPal - other billing is OK

I would be very grateful if you could let me know the outcome of any fix.....has anyone else had this problem?
Hello,
We've found a small problem in the number format of the PayPal code and this, sometimes (depending on different factors), could lead to a wrong price value.
We'll fix it in the next update.
In the meanwhile, you can replace your PayPal payment with a custom PayPal code like the one below.
Just create a new payment type and click on the "Type" tab. There select "Immediate payment" and then select "Custom code". In the textarea paste the code below. Replace "your_paypal_email" with the email address you use for PayPal and "EUR" with your currency (USD for US Dollars). Make sure there aren't line feeds in the code you paste or it can create some troubles to PayPal.
That's it!

Hi - have tried this and yes it transfers to paypal and you logon (as the customer) - but it then doesnt go anywhere i.e its as if you just login to paypal to look at your balance. It doesnt offer the customer the choice to pay for any goods to my business? Thats no good. Incidentally i have used GBP as i require payment in £. Can you please offer the proper update as this is going to be affecting many businesses advertently. Many thanks

Dear Incomedia - The code above does not work - it does not transfer the shopping cart over to paypal. Please advise urgently thankyou
Hello Peter,
The cart is not transfered to PayPal. V8 didn't do this too.
The system transfers to PayPal the customer's data and the order number. The list of products bought by the customer is sent to you via email.
It works just like V8 did.

Hi Claudio - but ive tried this code (live) and all it does is transfer to paypal login and does not give the customer any option to pay me , it does not transfer the customer details or order number, maybe i'm doing something wrong but i have followed your instructions to the letter- the customer would have to manually send me money which defeats the whole point of a seamless shopping cart. I didnt have V8 it was one prior to that, but even that worked better than this!
Sorry but this glitch is not good enough, ive spent a lot of time getting my website right and am now losing money because of your glitch. PLEASE FIX IT WITH AN UPDATE !!
Getting fed up now

Dear Incomedia - Please can you check the code above for the temporary fix - it does not work as stated! Thanks
Hello Peter,
I've tested the code pasted above on our server. You can see the payment procedure here: http://websitex5.co.uk/examples/mrc/custom_paypal_code/
Check if your email is correctly set (I've seen that there are two <b> and </b> around it). Make sure also that the currency is correctly set.
We'll publish an update as soon as possible on the beta channel.

If you use this code ( i have removed the <b> and </b> around the email address, then it works as you suggest - with the <b> and </b> it DOES NOT WORK.
Regards
Pete
