Changing text within the H1 and H2 tags  en

Currently it is not possible to change the text within the H1 and H2 tags from the default website title and page title. Also you cannot choose where the tags should be placed on the page.

This is very very bad for search engine optimization, and the problem has come up many times before on website forums.

Can you tell me if and when a new version of Website X5 will be available, that lets you change the default text within the H1 and H2 tags, and also let you choose where they should be placed on the page?

Hello Kevin,

I would like to suggest that you open an "Idea" Post where you describe to us the feature you would like to see implemented in the future releases of WebSite X5.

Unfortunately I cannot tell you if and when this will be available.

If you require any further information, please feel free to write back.

There is a way in X5 to use the tags.

Select a page object.

  1. Then can use the Cell style  (Its the 2nd icon in the attached image with the Yellow asterisk) ->
  2. select the "Text" Tab
  3. and then tag the value in the "Settings" Content field eg <h2>Cell Title</h2>. The text will autowrap if its too long

Cool
