How can I upload the Goggle HTML verification file which I have downloaded to my pc? I have added the following to Verification metatag for Google Webmaster Central: In General Settings
<meta name="google-site-verification" content="niSKLcKJ-WPLS1WjPzZptU4oXiydwm1H7aF1SU4_0No" />
and exported my site to the Internet.
The Google Webmaster tool is unable to verify my site. Thank you for your help.

sometimes it won't work it should but it does not. I don't know why.
You can try download the code as html file and upload it separately (with filezilla or another ftp program).
Or try a new verification code at google. This has helped me in the past.
