Cannot get rid of the small hand and arrows in the two small slide shows at the top of my Home page.
I have Option 2...buttons not visible...autoplay

Hello. This not a bug. Those icons are for mobile users to indicate that the slides can be moved with the touch of the finger

Oh...right.
Not sure whether it's a good idea or not.
Possibly...the owner of the site should have options to switch such signs on or off?
May I suggest you create a new post as idea to propose this option to the WebSite X5's Staff ?
