I am running version 10. A minor problem with Site map. In General Settings, Expert -I have ticked ‘Automatically create a Site Map. In both Preview and on the website as uploaded the Site Map:- a) is still showing a page called ‘Partners / Associates’ - which was deleted some time ago - and b) a website page called lean shows up (as required)in the site map - but is not hyperlinked. Website is www.sixsigma-ltd.com Can you help please?

Hi Malcolm,

Highlight the 'lean' page in Step 2 - Sitemap Creation, then click on 'Properties' on the right-hand side.  Select the 'Expert' tab at the top, and check that the 'Add this page to the sitemap' box is ticked (it's at the foot of the window)  -  if not, then tick it, and reupload your project to the server.

As regards the deleted Partners / Associates page, I am a bit puzzled about that, however you could try deleting all files from your server and uploading the entire project afresh.  I do not know how the 'Update frequency' in Sitemap Settings affects the X5 project file, but it may have some bearing on your issue?

PS:  you might still have a reference or internal link to the deleted file within your X5 project somewhere.  It would be a case of hunting it down!

Problem fixed.

1. I had created a page called 'site Map' and failed to delete 'Partners / Associates' text from that page.

2.  I forgot to create a  link to 'Lean'  on my Site Map page.

My fault - sorry.

Also - I had failed to show the Lean page as automatically updaing the site map 'always'.

Thanks for swift response. Very much appreciated

Malcolm
