Different text in send button
Auteur : Duncan BakerI have got several forms on my new site.
Most are a simple one page form and so the "send" buton is fine. I have got one form that, on my exisitng site, is very long and is divided into four sections. When the person fills in section one, they press a button "next step" which leads them to the next section of the form. When they get to the final section , they press "submit" which sends me the whole form as one email.
I realise I cannot do that in X5. But we do not get many forms and I am happy to receive the form in four separate parts.
But, what I would like to do is to have a different text in the send buttons. On the first three pages I would like to have "Send this page" and on the last page I would like to have "Send".
Is this possible? I know I can chage the text in the send button in the general settings but it looks like I can only have one phrase in all the send buttons.
Grateful for help.

Ah - a workround!
I can take the text out of the button entirely by removing the text in General settings setp 1 and clixking on the icon to the right of languages. I go to form_submit and take out the word send. This gives me a blank send button in my form I can then upload an image which says "send this page" to the first three forms and then "send last page" on the last page.
It is not perfect - but does the job!
Hello Duncan,
This is the only workaround since otherwise to get the form divided in more parts and the function to send this information to the next part of of the form would only work with custom code, since the form has not this functionality.
Please feel free to write back if you need more information.

I can't see that in the help file anywhere. Would it be useful to include it?
Hello Duncan,
We will take it in consideration to include it. If it has not already been suggested to add the option to split the email form in more parts, I would suggest you to open it as IDEA so that the developers will take in consideration to include this option without the need to use an workaround.
Many thanks!
