Gallery problem with picture after update to 10.1.0.38  en

I found a bug in Evolution 10 update 10.0.8.35, i have one e-commerce site for 1 year,each item has a separate page with gallery and the gallery work well, but after i update to 10.0.8.35 for each new item added in the shop the gallery does not work anymore .I try in 2 different PC with the same result, the olds gallery in the old pages work but in the new pages don´t.

Hello Vanda,

I just visited your sitelink in Google Chrome and Internet Explorer, and in both cases all images displayed correctly.

I expect what you are experiencing is a 'browser cache' issue, or something similar.  The fact that I can view your site as intended proves that the files have been uploaded correctly to the server.  So the issue must be localised to your own browser, and is probably caused by your browser retaining parts of the old site (pre-upgrade) in its cache.  Rest assured it's not a bug in WebSite X5.

To cure this try clearing your browser cache from the Tools menu, or alternatively hold down the 'CTRL' key whilst you reload each page in question.

Hello Paul,

Thank you for the quick reply, I allready clean the cache in 3 browser that I use, I visited my site in this morning in home in 3 PC , in office in two diferent PC and in internet cafe in one PC and the problem continue .

How you can explain that the same problem appears inside of program when today I have removed the pages with problems and went back to the creating of new with the same result ?

Hello Vanda,

To help me understand your issue more fully, can you confirm that the problem is that you are unable to view the four images (either thumbnail or full-size in the Showbox) on the following page:

http://www.corkbags.com/handbag-bella.html

If so, then I am rather puzzled...  I have just checked again the link on your behalf, and again all images display correctly in my browsers.

Hopefully someone else will have a logical suggestion very soon.  In the meantime I will continue to ponder what could be causing an issue on so many different computers, yet not on mine.

What version of WebSite X5 are you using?  The title and content give conflicting information...  i.e. 10.1.0.38 in one, and 10.0.8.35 in another.

The standard procedure when faced with unusual symptoms after an update is to erase all WebSite X5 related files from the server...  then hold the 'CTRL' key down whilst entering the preview mode in X5...  then reupload the entire project to the server in Step 5...  finally clear browser cache and cookies before testing.

OK Vanda, can you confirm that you held down the 'CTRL' key and opened the preview browser in X5 before exporting the full site again in Step 5?

The 'CTRL' key/preview step is very important.

I think there is a possibility your issue could be related to that of the following thread:

Yes, I hold down the "CTRL" key when open the preview browser in X5, wait maybe 2 min. untill see my project ,erase again all website in the server and upload again with the same result.

I made this steps again for 10 min. ago , the result is u,nfortunately, the same . Thank you for the help.

Can you confirm if you see the picture in full size in Showbox ?

Yes, I can see the full-size picture in the Showbox for each image.  I've tested both pages and all the links.

I think your issue is similar to that described in this post:

The Showbox works correctly for me also given the links which the user has posted in that thread too.  I'm puzzled as to why the pages work correctly in my own browser if the problem is not cache-related.

I've asked Incomedia for assistance.  Many thanks for your patience in the meantime.

Everything works correctly now, downloaded "x5engine.deferrable.js.zip" ,unzip the script, copy and paste in"C:\Program Files\WebSite X5 v10 - Evolution\Res\" ,open the project and press CTRL key when I open the preview .
