I dont seem to design the way i want to design my website please help! 
Auteur : S. KhanHi, i have bought the Website x5 professional 10. and trying to replicate the website i once designed on my Photoshop. but somehow i am finding every little thing very complicated to do on this x5 software.
such as: 1: in X5 i found that i am able to set only one background for every page in the beginning which is also a very complicated procedure but i actually want to set different backgrounds on different pages? please tell me how.
2: i want to make my menu on the right side of the header beside my website logo how can i do that?
3: how can i place some menu text and social media buttons on the footer?
4: how i can share stuff from the website to social media such as Facebook twitter..
5: i don't want any scroll up and down on my pages please tell me how i can do that and also tell me the right height & width i should use?.
hopefully your answers will be helpful, otherwise the money i spent on this software will considered wasted.

1) It is possible to use different background for every page and this can be done in step 2 by selecting the page and then opening the page properties. Once opened the properties if you select the graphic tab and you activate "enable custom settings" you can then select the image which has to be used as background for this page.
2) Can you please show me an example of how it has to look like the menu?
3) you can add text, links and social media buttons code by selecting step 1 - edit graphic template - and then you open the footer tab. You cna use the text function where then you can add the link function so you can add links to pages you want. For the social networks you will need to use the HTML Code funktion where you paste the code ofr the selected social network. For facebok you find the code to add here:

4) You can use the social network object and then select the "addthis share button" but before you need to create an account on www.addthis.com and then enter your addthis username in the settings.
5) to not have to scroll on the website you need to avoid long pages. Add less content to the pages so the browser will not need to render the scrollbars. Try to not use more than 650px as height which will avoid the scrollbars in the most monitors.

Hi, since i dont see any option to set the full hight of the webpage on this software, so i applied different hights on the parts of the webpage which makes the total hight: 650px and 1440 is the width i have set.
1440 x 650 is known to be the best size of the webpage then why it is looking so small on my preview?
isn't it supposed to cover the whole screen?

for the menu you need as first select in your template to have the menu over the header in the template editor and then you got to step 4 - main menu and in "optional content" you select "position: left" and in the text field you write some blank space. In the size field add the width of the logo.
Remember to add the image you want as logo aligned left in the template editor in the menu section.
The slideshow has to be in background of the content?
If yes then this option is not present in the program and you will need to use a custom script to have this functionality.
The Height if the pages depends only on the content you add. You cannot define it before. In the template editor you can set a minimum height but not the maximum height.
If the size covers the whole screen depends on the screensize and settings of the DPIs.

Please look at the picture i have attached and let me know the folowing:
1: New Levels in this software as i can see are not really a page itself. i want to make my level a page itself and the sub-navigation of that page will also be on the content area as a category menu.
2: I want to make my sub-navigation to look like the example i am showing u, not like the default result which u can see on the screenshot.
3: by clicking on different categories should change the thumbnails you see on the right side. and by clicking on those thumbnails & titles should open my catalog on a totally new page.

You can link the level to a page so once you click it it opens a page of the project. To do this you need create a level then select it and then open the properties.
In the properties in the option to add the link to be executed on the item click you select the page it needs to open.
To change the look of the page menu you need to go to step 4 and then select page menu. In this section you can change the look of it once you select a page of a level.
For every page you need to change the thumnails you added so you can select in which page which thumbnail should appear. You can us the link function on the thumnails so once clicked they opens your catalog. If it needs to be opened in a new page in the link options you can select "open in a new window".

the above answer did not work for this.. i actually want to change the place and colors of the sub nevigation or may want to hide it on the content area of the page. please tell me briefly how i can do this.

Could you also tell me how can i make a scroll bar only for the text area over my page content like the atached image. Please note that i dont want to scroll my page but only my body text need to be scrolled.

use pading for submenu(what I see in your picture is the main manu!) your menu is set for hor or ver?
if you are going to have hor menu (next to your logo) then you need to devide your page and create cutom menu (text + your bg image) on the laft
scroll is depend on your content.

instead of text object, use html object and copy/ paste your plain text over there, that will do the job for you, you can set the hight over there.
This is the easiest solution if you are not code savy.
I created a sample for you, please see attachment.
it is easy what you are going to make but you need to fully know the program, I am working with this program at least for 4 years, thats how I know what to do.
you need more time to explore the x5.

I'm sorry but i don't help you for customizations ofthe code, you need to do manually.
Try to search in internet guides or tutorial or wait another user of the community that help you.

Thanks. but i sorted out by myself.
It was so simple.. just go inside the text cell and select the text then click on the button "Rollover settings" which is right beside the button of Enable HTML settings.
In "Rollover settings" you can enable rollover and change the setting to make the text inside the scroll box.

Also tell me. When i link something with the text it becomes blue and underlined.. i want my text to be normal, no underline no blue color, just a click able text.

Hello Khan,
try to click the CTRL+Preview so the image will be reload, if not you need reinsert it in the gallery.
For the link, you can modify the color in step 4 in "Styles and Models" click on the "active link".

Q1: when i save my project it saves inside the software only. i want to save my project as a source file not only in the software but in my drive also. how can i do that?
Q2: Please tell me how can i put the print button in my gallery.

Hello Khan,
To save the project also on your drive as IWZIP you need to go to step 5 and then choose "Export the project". In any case the program saves the project with the Save button on the drive and creates also a backup copy in case you want to roll back or you want to recover the project.
In the gallery there is no print button directly but you can add a print button in the page by using the Text Object and then you use the link function where you choose to add a the print link in the page.
