Is it possible to have something like a blog restricted through access management? I would like to be able to have some documents that one group can see and a blog? for them to comment on that document. Plus other documents for another group to access and comment on.

At the moment it is not possible to have this feature in WebSite X5. I would like to suggest that you open an "Idea" Post where you describe to us the feature you would like to see implemented in the future releases of WebSite X5.
You can, as alternative, create an password protected page where you add the guestbook so the user with access to this page can leave comments on it.
